Search Boise County Court Records Online
Boise County does not publish a separate county case-search database in the official pages reviewed. The court-record search works best when the user has a case number, party name, business name, or narrow date range. Boise County can also be selected as a location filter in the portal. The portal may require CAPTCHA checks, and it warns that sealed cases and some exempt case events will not display. What Boise County Court Records Show
A public Boise County court-record result is usually a case-status and event tool, not a complete document packet. Idaho Courts' records guidance says public case information is searchable online, while records from a case can be obtained through a courthouse kiosk or a request to the clerk where the case was filed. Boise County Court Records Access Rules
Idaho Court Administrative Rule 32 controls public examination and copying of judicial department records. Idaho Code 74-102 gives the general right to inspect and copy Idaho public records, while Idaho Code 74-103 lists exemptions. Boise County's local public-record request form also cites Idaho Code 74-120, which limits use of public records as mailing or telephone lists.

Boise County's sealed-record request form lists records that may be confidential, exempt, sealed, or judge-controlled. A person seeking an exempt or sealed Boise County court record uses the Fourth District Court, Boise County request form rather than ordinary public search. The form asks for requester identity, current address, phone, email, case name, case number, the kind of access requested, a description of the documents, and the reason for access. The custodial judge may grant or deny the request. Sealed access is not automatic just because a person can identify the case.
